      Description

A delicate, craft-forward Handwoven 1/1 weave Kala Cotton offered in its natural RFD (Ready For Dye) state. At 110 GSM, this is a light, breathable cloth that retains the distinctive earthy character of heritage Kala Cotton while remaining fine enough for refined apparel and layered garments. The fabric’s raw, unbleached surface has a quiet, organic beauty—perfect for makers who value provenance, slow making, and the tactile honesty of naturally pigmented cotton.

      2) How It’s Made

This textile is handwoven on traditional looms using naturally brown Kala Cotton yarns in a true 1/1 plain weave (one warp over one weft), creating a balanced, stable structure. It is supplied RFD (Ready For Dye)—meaning it has been prepared for dyeing but left undyed and unprocessed so dyers and makers can apply natural or low-impact dyes as desired. The finish is minimal to preserve the fabric’s authentic hand and fiber integrity.

      3) Technical Specifications
