Description
Tencel™ Slub Suiting Fabric — 58” Wide, 370 GSM
This Tencel™ slub suiting fabric is a heavyweight, tailored textile with a refined natural texture and a substantial, garment-ready hand. Woven from 80% Tencel™ lyocell and 20% hemp, the fabric combines the smooth, fluid softness of lyocell with the dry, organic character of hemp.
At 370 GSM, this is a true heavyweight suiting fabric with structure, body, and excellent presence. The surface has a subtle slub texture from the hemp content, giving the cloth a more natural, dimensional look than flat synthetic suiting. Tencel™ lyocell adds softness, breathability, and a gentle drape, while hemp contributes strength, texture, and a grounded, linen-like feel.
This fabric is ideal for elevated tailoring, structured separates, minimalist garments, and slow-fashion pieces where weight, texture, and comfort are equally important.

Handfeel & Drape
This fabric has a substantial, smooth hand with a lightly dry texture from the hemp. It feels weighty and structured, but not stiff or abrasive. The Tencel™ lyocell gives the cloth a refined softness and a more elegant drape than traditional hemp or linen-heavy suitings.
The drape is controlled and tailored, making it suitable for garments that need shape, clean lines, and a polished silhouette.

Wash & Care
Dry clean recommended for best results, especially for tailored garments.
For washable projects, pre-wash a test swatch first.
Use cold water, mild detergent, and gentle handling.
Hang dry or lay flat to dry.
Steam or press from the reverse side using moderate heat.
Do not bleach.
Natural slubs, slight yarn irregularities, and tonal variation are part of the hemp-blend texture and should not be considered defects. Some softening and minor shrinkage may occur with washing.
