      Description

      1) Fabric Overview

A deeply refined yarn-dyed boiled wool in nuanced charcoal gray, offering quiet strength, warmth, and visual depth. At 390 GSM, this is a true heavyweight wool—dense, insulating, and protective—yet calm and composed rather than bulky. The yarn-dyed base gives the color dimensionality and longevity, while the boiling process creates a smooth, unified surface with a softly felted character. This fabric reads heritage, minimalist, and enduring: designed for silhouettes that rely on structure and longevity rather than trend.

      2) How the Fabric Is Made

The fabric begins as a yarn-dyed woven wool cloth, where the color is introduced at the yarn stage rather than after weaving. It then undergoes controlled boiling (fulling)—a process using heat, moisture, and agitation to partially felt the wool fibers. This densifies the fabric, closes the weave, and produces a compact, wind-resistant structure with reduced fraying. Because the color is yarn-dyed, the charcoal tone remains rich, even, and stable over time.
