Yak Wool Twill Tweed Fabric, 58" Wide, 380 GSM (Charcoal Gray)
$28.54Excl. T.V.A.
Description
A refined yak wool–cotton twill tweed in deep charcoal gray, combining natural insulation with added stability and wear resistance. At 380 GSM, this is a true heavyweight fabric—dense, warm, and enduring—yet with a slightly crisper, more controlled hand than pure yak wool alone. Yak wool (≈70%) contributes warmth, breathability, and a soft, cushioned feel, while cotton (≈30%) introduces structure, durability, and cleaner tailoring lines. The twill surface remains understated and modern, allowing the material quality to speak quietly but confidently.
2) How It’s Made
This fabric is woven in a classic twill structure, where diagonal interlacings create strength, longevity, and a smooth, continuous face. Yak wool fibers from the insulating undercoat are blended with cotton to balance warmth with firmness and dimensional stability. The cloth is lightly finished to soften the wool component without over-milling, preserving weave clarity and making it well-suited for tailored and outerwear applications.
