FAQs

FAQs
What are the wash & care instructions for my Linen Fabric?

Pre-wash: Before the first use, wash linen to soften the fabric and remove any sizing or treatments.
Wash in Cold or Lukewarm Water: Use a gentle cycle with water temperatures no higher than 40°C
(104°F) to prevent shrinkage and fiber damage.
Use Mild Detergents: Opt for gentle, pH-neutral detergents to preserve the natural fibers and avoid
fading.
Avoid Bleach: Do not use bleach or harsh chemicals, as they weaken the fabric and may cause
discoloration.
Separate Colors: Wash light and dark linens separately to prevent color bleeding.
Handwashing for Delicates: For delicate or handwoven linen, gently hand wash with minimal
agitation.
Do Not Overload the Machine: Allow the linen room to move freely during the wash cycle.
Avoid High Spin Speeds: Use a low spin cycle to minimize wrinkles.
Air Dry for Best Results: Lay flat or hang to dry in a well-ventilated area, away from direct sunlight to
avoid fading.
Tumble Dry on Low (if needed): Use a low heat setting and remove promptly to prevent over-drying
and excessive wrinkles.
Iron While Damp: For a smooth finish, iron linen while it is still slightly damp using a high heat setting
with steam.
Store Properly: Keep linen fabrics in a cool, dry place. Avoid plastic storage to allow breathability.
Avoid Dry Cleaning (unless specified): Most linen fabrics do not require dry cleaning unless indicated
by the label.
Spot Treat Immediately: For stains, blot with cold water and mild detergent immediately to prevent
setting.
