Cotton fabric is a versatile, durable, and natural material that requires proper care to maintain its quality and longevity. Here’s a simple guide to washing and caring for cotton:

Washing: Use cold or warm water to wash cotton items to prevent shrinking. Opt for a gentle detergent, especially for delicate or organic cotton fabrics. Always separate dark and light colors to avoid bleeding.
Drying: Air-dry cotton when possible to avoid shrinkage and maintain texture. For machine drying, use a low-heat setting.
Ironing: Cotton wrinkles easily, so iron on medium heat while the fabric is slightly damp.

Storage: Store cotton in a cool, dry place to prevent mildew. Avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight to prevent fading.

What are the MOQs for custom dyeing and printing on Cotton fabric?

The MOQ for custom dyeing is 25 meters per shade, and for digital printing, it is 20 meters per design.(For Oeko-Tex Standard 100 dyeing requirements – please provide us with the Pantone shade number, for natural dyeing requirements, choose a shade from our catalog here - , For printing requirements – vector PSD file)

How much shrinkage should we expect when we wash the cotton fabric?

Natural or untreated cotton: Shrinks about 4-10% during the first wash.

Pre-washed or pre-shrunk cotton: Shrinks minimally (1-3%), if at all.
